Marma's Cairn Terriers
Picture

We are in Oregon, on the west coast with airports close - Eugene airport 40 miles south, -  or Portland airport 65 miles north. We can meet you at the airport - or contact us about possible delivery options. We ship our puppies with Odyssey Private Pet Transport for their safety and comfort.  But we also encourage people to come to pick up their puppy, and many have driven or flown in from out of state.

Marma’s Cairn Terriers has puppies arriving with Winter 2022. As of November 26, Dixie and Teddy have a litter of Companion Dogs, 4 girls and 2 boys. We have a litter due on the 11th of December that will be show/breeding select puppies from Cassidy and Rags. Our next litter will be weaning in January. The price of our puppies are $2,000 for Companion Dogs, and Show/Breeding select puppies will be $2500+. We will have more Companion Dog puppies. We are responsible breeders, certainly NOT a puppy mill, and all our females are on a healthy breeding schedule. We have been overwhelmed with the number of people who are wanting puppies, and we try to answer inquiries as soon as possible, while still spending the time keeping our dogs healthy and happy. In our current world, "add to cart" does NOT get us a puppy! We appreciate your understanding – though patience is difficult, we understand.

Buddy is so agreeable to anything you want to do - take his picture, cuddle, run in the yard, or sleep in your lap! Personality plus! He is smiling for you! He went to his home in the fall.
Puppy activities can be fun!

It's a PUPPY TRAIN! My granddaughter and a friend came to play with the puppies, so they got lots of fun, new experiences!

This is Talon - from Ch. Higgin's Checkov and Ch. Zippy - She earned a major win and 9 points, but didn't enjoy the shows, so she has returned home. She grabs an empty milk jug and RUNS across the field with it!

Eric C met little Eric (who became ET) and it was love at first sight! Having tragically lost his 19 year old Parson Russell Terrier Service Dog, he was devastated and needs all the love and cuddles that this little guy willingly gives! They went through Service Dog Training and meeting the two of them at a festival or home show, ET is a totally different dog than the wild pup who loves to join the other youngsters every week for puppy play date. A true natural! Man and dog were inseparable until Eric's passing, in April, 2021.

Sarge - returned according our breeder's agreement and re-placed with a new family!
Picture
***OUR GUARANTEE FOR OUR PUPPIES SAYS THAT IF THE PUPPY EVER NEEDS A NEW HOME, THAT WE WILL FIND THAT HOME FOR THEM AND THEY ARE TO RETURN BACK TO US********and Summer 2016 seems to be a time of medical issues causing puppy returns (people medical issues or cancellations - not puppy illnesses). Sarge was returned by his family when Grampa required more care, and they were afraid he was getting bored with less time to spend with him. "Bring him back", I told them - and he happily settled in with another family who had been waiting for a pup.

May 25, 2014 we had a puppy returned. His owner had medical issues and family changes all at once, and Jericho couldn't be handled there anymore. He left in early June to be with his new family and big brother, a Cairn Terrier, in Idaho!

AUGUST 30, 2012. A SWEET LADY IN SALEM OREGON HAD PASSED AWAY AND LEFT MAGGIE, A 4 YEAR OLD, SPAYED FEMALE CAIRN TERRIER. SHE RETURNED TO US AND WAS PLACED WITHIN HOURS WITH AN OLDER WOMEN WHO WAS DEPRESSED AT HAVING LOST HER DOG COMPANION A SHORT TIME AGO AND HAD EVEN REFUSED TO LEAVE HER HOME FOR FAMILY DINNERS BECAUSE IT WAS TOO PAINFUL TO COME HOME TO AN EMPTY HOUSE. THE WOMAN'S DAUGHTER CAME AND PICKED UP MAGGIE AND A DELIGHTFUL NEW LIFE WAS STARTED FOR HER AND HER NEW FRIEND. A MUTUAL ADMIRATION SOCIETY, I'M SURE.****************
Happy day, December 8, 2016 new home for Frankie - replaces sad day - 11-10-2016, Frankie returned to us again due to divorce. Following is the info from the first time he returned as Tommy. (1-17-2014 We have ...completed our “executive task” of finding Tommy the perfect new family – with one of his sisters! She is Roxie, a Maggie and Checkov pup and 5 months old and was being a challenge for her busy family, though they have already completed beginning puppy classes with her. Now they have Tommy to help out with the busy pup AND the two busy little girls. We took him to their home in Eugene, Oregon today and the pups were running laps around the couch, and Roxie could not seem to catch Tommy! They will have fun together, I’m sure, as they hit it off right away and the family has a big back yard for them to play in, also! He is right at home and his former family can take that job in China with out worrying about Tommy!

Our granddaughter is constantly in the pen with these puppies to make sure they are all getting enough to eat! They don't even care if they are picked up - it is normal!

Contact us through the form below.   Marma’s Cairn Terriers will have puppies arriving in Spring, 2023.  Our newest litter arrived January 21 2023 with more due in February and March. The price of our puppies is $2,000 for Companion Dogs, and Show/Breeding select puppies will be $2500+.   We are responsible breeders, certainly NOT a puppy mill, and all our females are on a healthy breeding schedule. The number of people contacting us about getting a puppy is overwhelming, and we want to spend our time taking care of our puppies and dogs. We appreciate your understanding – though patience is difficult, we understand.

We have show potential puppies occasionally from our Champion stud dog,  Champion Teddy Bear McGreen.  They all leave here well socialized, since their sunny day play time is in a pen that is close to the busy highway. They have their AKC papers, first shots, Vet checkup, and micro chipped, handled, cuddled, read to, dressed in doll clothes, loved and exposed to confusion and noise (hey, that's life here). There will be a $20 charge for registering their microchip in your name, with us as a default contact.

When you would like to send a deposit for a puppy, read the guidelines on this page (scroll down, down, down, on this page) so you know what the expectations and limitations are.

We will be taking deposits of half the puppy's price and you will choose your pup according the order the deposits are received.

This is a Maggie puppy from a previous litter. Here is Cade, riding high on the pick-up truck. Poor little guy was playing with his siblings in the grass and got an abscess on his chest. We dashed him off to the vet where he dazzled all the staff, sleeping through the pokes and prods to get his problem fixed. He is healing nicely and growing well, too. This was spring, 2014
PictureSisters, sisters, just two little sisters! Different as day and night - they are lucky to be going different ways, because they are scrapping with each other already! Colette's pups, Spring 2014

Hi
Norma, want to let you know that our puppy you brought us on Thursday is doing
great, she has settled in and is very busy playing with our Basset Hound, Maggie,
they are good friends already. We named her Scooter, because she scoots around
the house at a dead run most of the time. We love her. I will send you some pictures when I
can get her to stand still long enough. Healthy, happy and well adjusted, we are
pleased, Thank-you again. Suzie from Redding, California

Notes from puppy buyers:

Hi,  Norma and Marland our ride home was great. Oz did
really good - we decided to call him Oz - not Whiz (for Wizard). He is so sweet we love him! I will be sending you a video of his first day with us. He loves Sweetie, our cat, as she does him. Bo, our lab, doesn't care either way. He's silly! We stopped in a park on our way home and Oz and Mclovin, the chihuahua played so cute! I'm so happy we found you - thanks Karen, Oz, and family.

Hi Norma , just want to let you know that baby, Jasmine is doing great! You  have  done such a wonderful job preparing her for her new life. She is up for  anything  and is the sweetest, smartest little mischief maker ever. Love her.
Thanks  again!!! Judi

"Just wanted to let you know Cailen is doing fabulous. Adjusting well to everything. Likes to sleep on the top of my head. I think the short hair reminds of someone... If I move he immediately starts nuzzling like he's looking for a nipple. Doesn't find one, and goes right back to sleep. Very cute. He is sporting a very stylish collar with a little blue bow - he has his name tag as well as a little bell...not that he ever goes too far...but just in case. He looks very dapper. I'll send you a picture. Hope you have a great trip back. Delightful to meet both of you in person!" Camilla and Cailen
